Cooling fan won't stop running.

Have 03 lincoln town car. Cooling fan won't stop
running. Drained the battery when not started in
less than a week. Had to disconnect battery to
charge battery. When hook battery, fan comes back
on. What is the cause?

Probably have a relay/sensor failing somewhere.

cooling fan relay probably.under hood, using relay fuse chart find the relay that controls cooling fan,swap it out with identical type relay and see if it shuts off. U are getting a constant 12volts to your cooling fan.follow 12v wire back from fan and see where it goes. have your voltmeter ready to be sure you are following the correct wire not the ground wire
