I don’t know what your problem is but I think you are referring to the Driver Door Module (DDM). It controls your keyless entry pad and door locks, trunk lid and auto lock. It’s located behind the driver door panel on the top right. On my 2004 LTC it has a single decal with the part number and keyless entry code sequence. Mine failed. I purchased a new one and installed it easily. Programmed the fobs which can be done using the car manual or several online tutorials. Didn’t have to do any fancy reprogramming.
