AC not working

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2004 Town Car   Changed compressor, condenser, filters and lines. With gauges on, compressor kicks on and off. As soon as the pressure gauge goes up, the compressor kicks off. (about 2 seconds)  When I changed the filters, there was some small metal filings from the bad compressor. Could there be another clog in the dryer?  That plus the high and low pressure switches are the only thing I haven't changed yet.

Yes, the dryer should have been replaced,now you may have contaminated the system again.

If compressor is clicking on and off sounds like not enough refrigerant ( freon ) in system add more freon until compressor constantly stays on then system is full.
