removing mold smell inside car

Not really (nor do you really want to try it- you'd have to remove the front seats and since you're doing that you might as well ditch the carpet), you should be able to get a used (non-stinky) carpet for cheap from a local wrecker.
NO. Strip all the carpet out and disinfect the car with bleach. Then install new carpet and padding. The rest of the upholstery (seats and door panels) may also have to go.

Use a water vinegar solution to get rid of mold and smelly smells , it's also a mild rust cleaner .Everyone goes with bleach for anything and they always make it too strong .

The EPA quotes “the use of chlorine bleach is not recommended as a routine practice for mold clean up” So what works? It may surprise you to know that the most effective way to remove mold is most likely in your pantry..it’s vinegar! Straight vinegar kills about 82 percent of mold spores and also prevents future mold if you spray it on the surface and allow it to dry.
Beat up Chevy: the question revolves removing mold in carpet of a vehicle. While vinegar will neutralize the spores of the mold, the smell is not likely to be vacated. The only real way for this interior to be evacuated of the moldy smell, is to completely remove the carpets, and install a new one or a used non-moldy one.

Saturate the carpet with Brut Cologne. Then hide mothballs under the seat.
