1999 Mercury Grand Marquis Radio

Asked by woofendog Mar 22, 2016 at 09:09 AM about the 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis 4 Dr LS Sedan

Question type: General

1999 Mercury Grand Marquis with no owner manual. Radio/cassette has buttons marked cd/tape. When cd pressed display reads "no cddj". Does this button control optional cd changer. Should there be a connector in the trunk. I have an extra Pioneer 6 disc cd changer. Maybe this would work. Thanks.

Wayne's incorrect: Woofendog said he has a cassette rape/radio combo. He has no cd player. That's the botton for control either/ both the tape and a cd changer, if Woofendog has a cd changer mounted & connected in trunk on left trunk wall.

Updated to old smart phone with FM modulator as MP3 player with hundreds of 80's country music songs including, of course, the Mercury Blues, 65000 Grand Marques LS. Thanks.
