where is the outside air temp sensor on my 2000 Grand Marquis?

My outside air temp reads 127 degrees which leads me to believe the sensor is shot. One
forum said the sensor would be in the wire harness between the grill and the radiator. I
looked there and couldn't find it. Any ideas?

Found it! There is a bracket to hold the sensor in the right third of the harness channel. it fell out of the bracket and was hanging where I couldn't see it. Out side temp now reads correctly instead of 127 degrees. Whoo Hoo!
Do you have a photo of the sensor? My Grand Marquis is going the same and I can’t find it.
My 1999 Mercury Gran Marquis outside temp sensor started climbing in the middle of a snowstorm till it went over 90 degrees. Will tgis affect tge engine and cooling system and rwafiator of this car? I dont do my own mechanics sorry, this pld girl never learned how!
