My wife has a 2006 merc marquis, last night the alternator went out while she was driving. This morning I went and put a new one all is good, so I thought. She says now the power steering is not working. The fluid level is good, no leaks, the belt is turning the pump. This may be a dumb question but is there anything electrical about the power steering.
