How do you replace air door actuator on 2001 Mercury

Trying to access the actuator through the glove compartment opening. Is there a better
way to get it it?

There was a very detailed answer to this question not long ago by someone who really knows it. Possible, but difficult. Google it.

You have to take the whole dashboard out to get to the actuator. The door is in the ductwork that you can see behind the glove compartment. YouTube video shows how to cut duct open to access the blend door.open to let heat in close it to keep heat out for ac YouTube video shows how to
