Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, my 2002 runs great and passes smog, but it has less power on the freeway than my
old '93 did. I cleaned the MAF, new air filter and fuel filter. Car only has 30K. Is this
normal, or is there something I should check?

According to Edmunds the '93 with 4.6L came stock 190HP. The '02 4.6 220HP. So yeah, somethings not right.

I take it that you already had a tune up so you have fresh spark plugs. So the next thing I would do is replace the spark plug wires and coil. This did the trick for me in the past.

The plugs have 30K on them, so I'll replace, like you said. It has an individual igniter coil on each plug, no wires. Does not miss. Thanks.
