I am not so clearly imaginate design and specification of Merc. Marquis but I am sure AT of any kind has oil filling port and oil /AT fluid/ cooler,so let use possibility offered by these simple devices: incert thin wall suitable hose through the first one one and soak out necessary amount of fluid by some kind of syringe /including for medical use/ 2. Disconnect one of two hoses from AT to cooler, connect to cooler fitting aadditional hose and original hose both put in some bottle or connect to extention hose ported in bottle. Start engine and run at idle until bottle will filled how you need. Stop engine. Reconnect hose.Chek AT fluid level.
