Fan control switch only works on position 3.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced the switch and then the resistor still the same symptoms. No
response from switch position one or 2, full on at position 3 only. What's next?.

Is it a 1910 Datsun or Ford, I can help if i know, make, model, year, How it started working only on level 3. Heat, no Heat , Air con ?????

2005 Gran Marq GS, Replaced the switch on dash and then the resistor under the hood, both new, still the same symptoms. No response from manual switch in position one or 2, full on at position 3 in both heat and air. started after several months in storage. What's next to check?
