Battery is good, starter was replaced
in March.

Engine starts to turn on but doesn't turn over.

so when key turned you get "click click " no start issue?

It starts right up...just rumbles...there's half tank of gas, so it's not out of gas

Is check engine light on? If so have codes read. This will get us to a solution quicker.

Check engine light is always on, small hole in muffler. Bought the car that way 5 years ago

Check engine light will store more than just one code. Without knowing what codes are stored there we are just guessing at your problem. I rather not thro good money away just guessing.

If in USA some auto zones will loan you a code reader. Small refundable deposit required. They come with directions and are real easy to use.

    Tinny sound when starts up and is cold noise goes away when warmed up but will happen on and off when driving for a couple of hours but is faint noise anyone know what this could be.
