Check your IAC (idel air control valve/motor). Remove it but leave wire harness connectted. Have someone turn ign. key to power, you should see movement from Iac.
I think anytime you remove the cables then when you hook them back up the car will idle up and down until the car sets its computer back to the correct settings. But it should stop after driving it a couple of times ...if not then there is another problem.
