Heat Issue

Asked by Treven Dec 19, 2017 at 09:59 PM about the 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS Spyder

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 mitsubishi spyder gs (2.4L) and heat works on the passenger side of the car, not the drivers. I don't have duel climate control. New thermostat, new heater core, did a full antifreeze flush. Temp runs at normal limits,  No going hot. Why does heat work on only half the car?

When you say that, do you mean the casing around the heater core inside the car? Or a case near my blower motor and joint duct? A friend said because of a belt squeal I have that my a.c. clutch is stuck "on" so it always is blowing ac?
