Wobble when turning

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I get a wobble in my steering when I take a slow
left but not right. Only at a certain degree does it
do this, like if I take a sharp left its good but I only
turn the wheel a couple degrees on the slow lefts
on the highway or changing lanes in the city, I get
a wobble like I was just hit with 65+mph wind. Wtf?

Sounds like it is in the tire. Have it checked for balance, and for any broken belts.

Probably a bad rear tire.. I had the same issue on a focus and the right Rear tire was dry rotted on the inside.. Put a used one and viola, no more wobble =) good luck

The tire would be off balanced, or a broken belt, The suspension gets checked for loose parts, not balanced.

Turns out that both my rear trailing arms are bent just a hair, mechanic tightened the bolts for quick fix but both need to be replaced. Doesnt wobble for the time being.

Ok great, you know where the problem is. If it is that bad to have repair, a alignment shop could tell you if they need to be replaced. Then I would get a front and rear end alignment.
