do mitsubishi montero sport 2001 blow their valves when timming belt goes bad

had timming  belt replace and everithing water pump three year later i was driving it shut
down i try to start it but nothing took it to the place that replace teh timming belt when
they open the cover the rotor tensor that the timming belt rides on was totaly lose..

if the timing belt goes and your engine gets out of time your pistons will wreck your valves when they collide, wouldn't call that blowing the valves but their wrecked either way blown or bent

Yes they definitely will I just went through that on my 2000 mitsubishi montero 3.0 and the valves were bent

I completely replaced the cylinder heads with re manufactured heads new timing belts water pump etc.
