I need help figuring out how to change my gas filter for my mitsubishi montero sport 2002 .thanx

i cant locate and dont want to do something wrong can someone help out by telling me
where i can find the valve or hose to relioeve the gas pressure so i can change the gas
filter on my truck thank you .

just take the gas cap off. get up under the car. the gas tank is the big box underneath the car. it's going to have a small rubber hose going towards the front off the car. the filter may be along the frame or it will be under the good. just google the phrase, where is the fuel filter on a 02 mitsu montero

Have a 2003 montero sport fuel filter is located on frame beside gas tank can hardly see .had my gas tank off could see real good .rear fitting comes off with realease tool. other end would not come off rusted on good luck ken.

Hey I really need some help. My monterosport 2000 has been having a hard time cranking and it Idles very high and gas is going way to fast and I’ve changed my spark plugs all my coils and coil wires and it’s still doing the same thing. I looked up what could’ve going on with it and this is other things that could be wrong uel filters, fuel pump regulator or engine sensors. Please someone help me
