Location of thermostat need to flush rad and engine

Follow top radiator hose to where it enters engine. Should be there. But you don't need to take it out to flush

That's what I thought. I just bought the truck @ a good price, one owner. But man really, you have to take the plantum off to change plugs. Timing cover to change water pump. Not a very friendly DIY engine.

The diesel engine versions are much more friendly.
