Check and clean the throttle body and check the throttle body sensors. Have the codes read for free at Auto Zone or Advance Autp Parts...

Ours did the same thing and the service engine soon light kept coming on. Took it to Autozone and it always read Coil 3. It was using oil and could not understand why. Changed Coil 3 and still had the problem. Finally had a mechanic changed all of the plugs and when he got to #3 plug it was not put on right by another mechanic which we were charged 450.00 dollars. This man spent 4 hours and only charged us $100.00 and we bought the kit which saved us even more money. He called us and we went out so he could show us why we were using oil and to show us that it was laying in the #3 plug. That was the cause of setting off the service engine soon light.Total cost for parts and labor was around 200.00 dollars. We have not had any problem with our oil being low since it was fixed. Now we are smelling an anti freeze smell and the service engine soon light just came on. Off to Auto Zone tomorrow to see what it reads. All of our fluids are fine.
