1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass supreme cuts off when gas hits

So I just got my cutlass supreme from a dealership
in Mechanicsburg Pa seen the car in person
instantly fell in love it blew me and my friends mind
on how mint it was n what I mean mint I mean
brand new like 50k miles on engine clean inside an
out.... Problem is I drove it back to Allentown an it
cut off on me on the highway, haha yea scary but I
changed the throttle new fluids etc. but idk what it
is I wanna keep her soo f’ing bad but idk how to fix
her an get her to not turn off on me..... Can anyone

Pretty hard to guess what it might be from your description. Not likely anything too serious though. Take it to a shop and have them check it out. Don't just start throwing parts at it and hoping for a miracle. That rarely works.

Hey I had a ‘91 and it was a bad fuel injector. Would drive but to accelerate you had to barely give it gas even to little it dies. Mechanic I had just decided to unplug one injector at a time till the correct (bad) one and motor started running beautiful. Replaced it and problem solved. Hope that helps narrow it down
