Brakes on 95 oldsmobile cutlass SL

My boyfriend got brakes for the front
realized they was still good. But the
back ones are bad all rusted even the
roater is in pretty rusted shape but he's
gonna use what he got for the front on
the back.. Is that possible? He REALLY
don't know what he's doing... HELLPPP

Well, the brake pads are the same for the front and rear but the rotors are of a different diameter: FRONT - 11.25" Diameter Vented Rotors. REAR - 10.94" Diameter Vented Rotors. If, like you say, your boyfriend doesn't know what he is doing, and I suspect that you are right, he should consult first with a mechanic...just in case.

I agree with Jorge 100 percent.... BEFORE...you have an accident.. which will cost you way more than taking the car to a professional.... get it fixed before you cause harm to yourself or others.
