ok the fact that it rained and it faulted me has me concerned what it sounds like is that you have a short to the wire for the fuel injector. there have been times working on cars that little mice or other critters get up under the hood and make nests it is posable that this might have happened and they used some of your wire cassing to do this leaving exposed wires. what I would do is trace back the wiring harness and look for any loom that has a hole or opening and check the wiring in there what you could also do is look at a wiring diagram for the injectors find out what pin the injector I believe for the code is #2 and run new wires. just an idea. I'm sure though its a open wire that is touching either a ground or is touching another wire and doing so some times.the rain just created a short but crossing the wire is my thought

When we Replaced the Injector wiring Harness we thought we had fixed it... she ran perfect for 3 or 4 days. so I think the injector harness is good. where do I go look and check Now ? ?
Sounds like you have a bad ground causing the code, Its going to be hard to find, but you will need to go back to the wiring and check for a bad ground, also look at the body ground for the car... http://www.obd-codes.com/p0202
this is true grounds up on the core support or over by the battery come loose from time to time and cause fault codes there is a cupple back in the fire wall too if memory recalls. this would also explain the getting wet and making contact. good one joe
there are even some grounds up on the block too you will see them they are just wires running to bolts lol

No I have not replaced the coil.... should I ? we did put all new injectors in 4 or 5 months ago. in fact that is funny the guy that did it while I was up north here in Michigan, put in the # 1 injector when it was faulting # 2 so when I made it home it took it to a good mechanic and he put the other 7 injectors in so now they are all new. They are set up to Cross front are for the back and Back for the front cylinders.

The 97 Minivan only has One Coil, ( not like my son's car that has a coil on every spark plug ). But if the Coil Pack was bad wouldn't I get a Fault on multiple Cylinders... ? I Just Get P0202 all the time... What exactly does that P0202 Stand for ? ? ?
