will not fire up

Most of the time, it comes down to either no spark or no fuel. First, though, check for diagnostic codes. On these cars it can easily be the crank position sensor. Also, when you first turn on the key, you should hear the fuel pump priming the system. In the fuel system, the first thing to check is the fuel filter.

There should be a Schraider valve on your fuel line near the engine. Look for a black cap on the steel line going to your fuel rail. Take the cap off and push on the center (a little, it might squirt gas at you).
