My husband is trying to find the bcm
on the 98 grand am. Hes trying to

starts but goes stalls after 2 sec. He is

Look behind the glove box, I tried to bypass on a 96 but everything I tried caused another problem. I ended up replacing the BCM for a little over a buck fifty. Sorry but I hope this helps you. Did you try the 30 minute reset procedure. Turn ignition switch far enough to make the starter just click don't start engine then let it sit 10 minutes repeat 3 times it might start after the second time but usually Three. Good chance for a beer in between lotsa luck
