Steering wheel Shaking

I recently replaced my brakes and rotors
myself, in the front, and no for a fact they
are not warped. The car itself is a "beater"
car to get to and from work and the four
tires differ in tread wear and this I am
assuming is causing the issue for my
steering wheel to shake at about 50-55mph.
My question is, is it okay for me to drive this
way, at 55, for a long distance? 60 miles in
total. My fiance had to take the truck and I
have no other choice to use this vehicle
tomorrow. After this trip I will be able to
correct the issue. Any help would be
appreciated.

did it do the same ting before you replaced the parts???????????

Wheel balance or loose front end parts are the likely suspects. Also, make certain the lug nuts on the wheels were properly tightened after the brake work.
