what causes the #1cylinder to misfire

Asked by horton_jeremy77 Nov 15, 2011 at 06:40 PM about the 2000 Pontiac Grand Am SE Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed plugs, oil and filter, fuel filter, and replaced 1 of the 2 coils in the coil
pack. Checked compression on all 4 cylinders and it was good in each. The #1
cylinder spark-plug is always wet with gas after running the engine so it seems the
injectors are good. Do I need to buy the other coil and plastic housing they sit in?
Both of my service engine soon lights on both sides of the instrument panel are
on and my trac off light is also on.
