On my 2002 grand am in park Rpms is slow to
reach 3.75 and bob to 4.rpms driving take off mash
to the floor is slow to take off rpms will let me reach
5.rpms but once auto shifts to next gear slow
throttle and speeds as well is this a fuel pump
problem

scan for codes even if the light ain't on , may be the catalytic is clogged , have someone hit the gas and see if there's a healthy blast from the exhaust .let us know what happens

I know it smells like it's flooding after I kill the car I can smell it

then you may have an injector stuck open , you should get a fuel pressure gauge and see if it's right , shot in the dark you can replace the fuel pressure regulator if the injectors are good , clean the AIC port but first you should scan for codes

I've heard of a phone app. and plug in that goes with it , of course you can always bring it to a shop , what they charge would pay for the $70** I bought , depending on where you are parts stores may have loaners , it's up to you

Ok think I figured it out coil housing is cracked you can see where it has arked think I'll see what happens after I change that and the coil

the devil is in the details , I've seen a mechanic spray ignition parts with a water bottle to see what arcs , wires ,coils . Every little thing helps it run that much better
