My ac was working but not real cold i added a can of r134 now its not working at all

noticed we went from ac on here
to engine overheating

Try cleaning out A.C condenser coil with garden hose and nozzle maybe clogged with dirt and bugs causing little to almost no air flow across coils if radiator sets in front of condenser clean radiator so that you can get good air flow to condenser.

Thanks i tried that and it was dirty however still not cold the low side enters the firewall and is very cold seems like plenty air flow inside idk

Also if it helps before it quit i could drive 10 miles and ice cold after i added it wont ever get cold now

Can not remember if that vehicle has a inline high side filter or an expansion valve. If inline filter needs to be replaced or if expansion valve also needs to be replaced.
