BAD WHEEL BEARING, DONT KNOW WHAT SIDE

If it is the front wheel bearing it is a good idea to replace both at the same time.

Sharp left puts more weight on both left tires and vise versa. It's best to jack up each wheel and check them independantly though. You must be N to check the fronts (use e-brake or blocks). E-brake off and P to check the back. If you are going to do the fronts the ball joints should be done and check the brakes. Are you a do it yourself 'er. Some special tools are required.
Whichever direction you turn the wheel the opposite side receives the weight Just like when everything slides on your dash if not secure The inertia will put your vehicles weight into the outside tires This is called curb weight. Turn left and hear moaning or hard steering; right bearing. :-)
