Can I possibly drop the engine harness in my 2001 grand am with out dropping the engine?

What's the problem with the harness? Catch fire? Found this business of changing an engine harness to be tricky business, if you think all components, electrical will have to tended to, all fasteners of every device- Of course, if you can get a hand in there to undo/unclip each connection why not? lotta scootin' around above, under around and through...is this necessary? could repair the locally affected connections~

Of course you can. You have to disconnect the harness before you "drop the engine"
