Asked by Toni0224 Jan 02, 2017 at 05:35 PM about the 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand am GT. My ABS light
is on, Trac Off light, Serice your vehicle light is on
also. It turns on as soon as I start the car. I've
taken it to Auto Zone and Master Muffler and they
said it's the wheel bearing. If I get the wheel
bearing fixed will my lights turn off??

Yes if you get the hub assembly, it would come with a new wheel speed sensor on it. If the ABS light still does not go off, replace the plugin that the new wheel hub assembly would plug into. The section of wire from the plugin running up threw the wheel well normally will go bad not making a connection. The wire corrodes under the insulation do to the wheel being right there throwing water and what not up from the road.

The 02 sensor has nothing to do with the ABS light or the Track light. Chances are the service vehicle soon light has to do with this guy has. Service engine soon tho, could indicate a problem with the 02 or emissions system, the only way to know would be to have the codes scanned to know where to look for a problem.
