Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2002 Pontiac grand am keeps running hot,  I
have to put coolant in it every morning.
I just had my front and back head gaskets
replaced,  a thermostat put in and had my water
pump replaced 5 months ago. What can be the
reason my car keeps running hot

My daughter had the same problem with her 2001 grand am and replaced basically the same parts you have for this problem and it still leaked. Going to suggest something some people on this forum will disagree with but it worked for me I added some Alumu seal stop leak to the cooling system and that took care of her problem no more leaking. You can add it to the overflow tank where you add antifreeze but it will take a couple of days to work or you can remove upper radiator hose and pour stop leak directly into the hose and it will start to work right away. No promises that it will work for you but it is worth a try. If it does not work after trying it two times do not continue to add more hoping it will work it will clog up the cooling system.
