Yes a bad hub can cause this if it is affecting the wheel sensor. Have your shop check both sides for equivalent voltage coming off the sensors. But try this first: unplug both sensors, CLEAN the connections, Sometimes this will clear the issue. How to do this: The sensors are located behind the brake rotor. You need to remove the wheels, but that's all. You can do one wheel at a time. You'll see the plastic clip holding the connector. After gently pulling apart the plug, spray electrical contact cleaner (Radio Shack) liberally into the plug, both sides. Use a Q-tip, get it good and clean. Let dry. Then put dialectic grease into and over all the contact areas. Reassemble. You might get lucky. Worst case, you'll have to replace the sensors. Do both sides. Try Rock Auto, NAPA, AutoZone.
