There is a bolt on side of trans.

bs. dont be telling him that. thats wrong. the only way you can check the fluid level is by taking it to a shop and they have to put it up on the rack and there is a check thing underneath. the only person that can do this for you is a qualified mechanic unless of course you are one and you have a lift to put it on. or you can just do a tranny fluid change and refill it.
