Probably water condensation. Do you only drive the car short distances?

I just bought the car the lady I bought it from said she bought it ten years ago never had a problem regularly oil changes the gunk is thick and there's allot of it I think the idle is off because it probably needs plugs and wires because when I'm driving it it runs good the first start of the day fires up every time just worried about the thick jelly stuff we're u pour the oil in what can I use to get it out of there is it bad to drive the car the way it is? I do thank u for any info u can give me do u think it's a good idea to take it into a shop to have them look it over u don't think it's a head gasket do u there's no gunk on the dip stick doesn't smell like antifreeze at all just oil

Change the oil and drive it for an hour or two to make sure it is fully warmed up and it has enough time to drive any moisture out of the engine. Make sure the PCV is working properly or replace it.
