got 2003 grand am got no heat last nite she ran hot and no heat toped it up this morning went out still no heat but temp is normal

you should check the coolant to see if it's clean and properly mixed , see if both hoses for the heater core are hot from the engine bay , Do you hear a vent door open/ close when you make a selection ? Cleaning the contacts on the selector switch may help . these may be like my 02 buick , a chinese puzzle to access things , U toob has many videos on a variety of repairs

the 2 hoses from motor to heater core are cold the only hose that is hot is the one from rad to thermostat
