Why my floor on my drivers side wet?

Can you locate the source of the fluid and what type it is (antifreeze, rain, etc.)? That would help us diagnose. Could be either coming up from the road and soaking your carpet or down from a roof drain (sunroof) or in from the engine compartment or heater box.
