HOW DO I KNOW WHEN ALL AIR IS BLED OUT IF IT?

CAR IS RUNNING HOT HAS NEW THERMOSTAT, THE MAN I BOUGHT IT FROM
DRAINED ALL THE WATER OUT OF IT , INSTEAD OF PUTTING ANTIFREEZE IN IT.
WHY? I HAVE NO IDEA. I HAVE PUT WATER BACK IN AND BLED AIR OUT. HOW DO
I KNOW WHEN ITS ALL OUT, BECAUSE ITS STIL RUNNING HOT?

I would say there might be crud in the system that might have cause the radiator or water pump to not perform properly causing the overheat. You need to be able to use coolant. I've never had issues with air pockets just keep filling till it stays at constant full level.

When I had problems with overheating and there was air in the coolant system it was a bad head gasket.
