The GP went thru 2 redesigns after your '95 model. As the car went thru the whole 'Wider is Better" Pontiac thing, the stereo got wider too. I had a 2000 GP and 2005 GP as company cars and the interior and dash was noticeably bigger and W_I_D_E_R in the 2005 vs 2000 model....so I feel comfortable in saying that the 2005 factory stereo/CD wouldn't directly fit your 1995 GP.
Hey David...morning to ya! I distinctly remember the Grand Prix getting wider as Pontiac developed the "Wide Track" GP and bombarded my TV screen with commercials about it. The '05 WAS more spacious & comfy than my 2000 one was. Wonder if Amber has the AM/FM cassette in the '95? I'm sure someone can install a much better aftermarket one than the factory one in the '05 anyway....it really wasn't all that great a system, just mediocre IMO @ Amber.
