My sons 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix shuts down when he is driving. He is able to restart the
car and drive again but this keep happening more frequently. I have seen info on the net
about the GTP and a fuel resistor but I dont know if that applies to the GT

The ignition relay smells fine but the fuel relay seems to have a bit of a burnt electrical smell to it. Should the car still run when the fuel relay is removed?

perhaps you've plucked the wrong relay~

the fuel pump will STOP DEAD once the relay is not juicin' the goose~

ok, I will try again once I get home.. My son has been using the wife's can in the meantime. yikes...
tphillips2735 did you ever find a solution to this problem? I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix and it is doing the same thing.
