My car starts but die's? What's the problem?

Starts then dies,  can it be the battery cables?,  air filter?,  or a blown fuse?

Try lightly applying pressure to the gas pedal when starting and for a few seconds after, sometimes it's just a bad batch of gas. Our, it could be a bad O2 sensor. If you get it to start, add some fuel system cleaner to the tank to clean the injectors. If none of that works, it might be your fuel pump. The fuel pump burns up if you drive your car on a low tank too much.

replace the fuel filter first and then start on the other possibilties
