I have a 98 grand Prix 3800 supercharged what cars have the same transmission

I have a 2000 impala with the 3800 in it can I put
the transmission from it and put it in my 98
Pontiac grand Prix with the supercharger

No. You need the heavy duty HD version of the transmission to handle the extra power the supercharged engine puts out. For example I believe I bought one out of a supercharged Buick Roadmaster for my '95 Bonneville. Not sure if it would work in a '98. The main thing is that it be an HD and that the electronics are compatible with your car. Do your homework and make sure you get the right one. It's a ton of work changing them out and you don't want to end up doing it twice.

It will indeed work but u have to change passenger side Axel and u really can't have fun with it or u will break tranny/Axel
