98 Grand Prix SE / 97 Grand Prix Cross parts

Asked by GrandPrix_320 Mar 11, 2017 at 03:54 PM about the 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix 4 Dr SE Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 98 Grand Prix SE that I love but
the back window (pass) went dead and
window dropped down and froze there.
Had 3-4 ppl try to fix.  Decided on a new
door.  Have the ability to get a free 97
Grand Am. Can I use the door? Or
should I try to fix the Grand Am?

If that one doesn't fit, find one that does. Rear doors for Grand Ams should be a dime a dozen pretty well everywhere and that's way easier than trying to do repairs on yours. Just make sure the problem is actually in the door and not the switches or the wiring leading up to it.
