Is there a timing mark on the crankshaft pulley when replacing a cranksaft position sensor you have to use.

I replaced the crankshaft position sensor on my 1999 pontiac grand prix
GT 3.8. Now the timing is off bad. Is there a timing mark on the
harmonic blancer I need to know about.

Replacing the crank sensor won't affect the base timing of the engine. However, most crank sensors have to be spaced correctly. If the bolt hole for the sensor is slotted, or elongated, this will tell you that the crank sensor needs to be adjusted to the correct position

Get a timing light from the auto parts store. It looks like a futuristic hair dryer. Follow directions and you will see your timing.
