that's the spindle flexor. right by the blinker fluid reservoir.

yup ,quarter glass . usually the window most broken by theives.

Would anyone know how to replace such a window? My 2000 Pontiac grand am rear passenger quarter glass has been shattered. Safelite says they would do it for around 400$, so I figured I would head to the local junkyard (like I've done with most of my other easy fixes) and see if I could grab one. Any tips/ways of removing and replacing the glass?
