for the past week my grand prix has been acting like it didnt want to start. i would pump the gas a lil bit to give it a lil boost but i stopped so that it didnt get worst. but when i would get a jump it would crank straight up. but now it jus clicks when i go to start it, and that brings me to my question is it the starter?

battery, starter solenoid or starter. could be any of the above, they are in order of likelyhood.
Most likely the battery, however check the battery leads are tight and clean (no corrosion) .

Get an optima red top, lifetime watrenty at az or 7 years It has 800 cold cranking amps, my supercharged, w/headers 12psi compared to 6 psi of boost started with 10w30, not 5w30 GM dealers reccomend @ -45celcius the first crank, sounded like June! I was in thunder bay.. Thank god Toronto gets UK weather
