2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP at full temp going down the highway sometimes just dies, wait a few minutes and starts back up, anyone know why?

Question type: General

Just curious if anyone would know why my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 190K miles on it, would be running fine and sometimes out on the highway at full operating temperature will just quit running, literally quit running. then after a few minutes pulled to the side of the road, starts back up and runs fine again for a pretty good amount of time.?

you'll have to trouble shoot it when the problem occurs you won't find anything wrong if you test any other time ,, scan for codes and get the definitions , look for loose broken vacuum lines/hoses/wires , check for motor to chassis ground
