Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The Security light does got out as it's supposed to, and it started and ran fine previously.
There are no other mechanical issues.. fuel pump is fine, starter is fine, fuses are fine
etc.  This just happened after I reset the security.  I had disconnected the battery for 10
mins, then reconnected, then used the reset procedure (on for 12 mins, off, then on, then
off etc).

I remedied the situation by disconnecting both the negative and positive cables for 10 mins with the key in the "on" position. After that, cranked right up. No more security light (blinking or otherwise)

I had same issue, locked the doors with the key, then unlocked with key, then it started right up.
