Transmission acting weird

starting later in the day after driving it all day, my
trans starts jerking, wont let me switch gears after
2nd gear, so i park it and let it sit. Then drive again,
lets me drive fine for about 5 min then the trans
goes out. I turn car off then back on and it lets me
drive again fine for about 3 minutes. Whats
happening

Sounds like it could be an electronic problem. Have you scanned it for trouble codes? That may give you some guidance.
