Make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? With hard restart, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and check fuel injector pulse. If your missing everything, check rpm signal, should come from crank sensor. Does it stall at idle or going down the road, if only problem at idle, check and clean anything that has to do with idle air system. If you open the throttle just a little when trying to start, that should bypass the iac where applicable. good luck
